Every worthwhile story, every success or gainsay in this world was borne of a challenge. The careers of future-hood began with today, began with yesterday, began with a story. Every stone has been chiseled, carved, and burned. In turn, it chisels the character, carves the nature into maturation, and burns the dross.

This is the Test of Red; a commentary and a journey into and through eternity on this side of the cross. "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." [Play Audio Here]

Inspired by Don MacLafferty's God Still Lives, this newsletter began with a 30-day Challenge to  "read the entire New Testament in the next 30 days" and write whatsoever I had seen and tasted of Jesus Christ. By doing so, I could remember Him in times of trial, and be impressed by the Spirit of truth, to engrave His word on my heart and mind. It is my belief that the Testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy, as stated in Revelation 19:10.

I then forward the challenge. "When you are finished reading your portion of the New Testament for that day, then set the Bible aside and from memory, write out whatever you learned about Jesus-- who He is, what He does, and what He will do for you. In this way, [the Holy Spirit] will engrave the Word on your mind and on your heart."

Day 1

evening:

Who is Christ but that the Star should appear in the east and guide those in search to His very feet, to adore and to worship Him, and to bring the best of gifts; the richest and the wealthiest gold, with the most fragrant above all, frankincense and myrrh? Who is He, but that the kings of the earth should seek to murder all who could be named King? Who is He but that His lineage was perfect, and His home but a fulfillment of prophecy? We see in the Writ the things that were, intermingled with the things that are, and the things that are to be. Christ is the Faithful Witness, for His life is one of admiration, awe, and truth. He was baptized for our sake, and the heavens were pleased. He had both a message and a messenger, as would He whom the prophets had so clearly foretold. But His time was not yet, therefore lived He in recluse until the fulfillment, where He opened His mouth and spake the message of repentance, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. He is a healer and restorer, God with us, and all the peoples were drawn to Him. Then He opened His mouth and spake in blessings galore, in blessings for they who were cursed, in blessings for they who sought. Saith the Scriptures, “in the fulness of time”, as does the power of Scripture to maintain Him in conflicts sore and temptations, to equip Him for to speak. The law is His right hand man, and He came to establish that which the Old Testament writers had been inspired. He expounds upon the requirements of His law for the sake of clarity. Therefore, the powers that be are in His mouth, and He is the King of the Word. …

His Word identifies my sin and gives me way of escape. Whether the heart be full of rage, or lust, of revenge, or swearing, we shall turn the other cheek, we shall rejoice in persecution, we shall bless and not curse, we shall pray and be made perfect, as our Father in heaven is perfect. Have not we a Judge in heaven, who sits at the right hand of the throne of God? Did not He put on human flesh? Therefore we ought to be silent in reproach, humble in our esteem, vigilant of our faults, confessing them rightly before God, and reconciling before man, for it is our duty to petition the Father for forgiveness, as we forgive in turn. And shall we be full of worry, when we have the plenitude of the lilies and the Father’s watchful care? Brethren, we carry needless cares. Whether we fast or whether we pray, may it be with a silent heart and a cheerful countenance. He, the Lord of active faith, is the reward, wherewith we may rest in the storm upon the Rock, that is, the doing of the Word.

And who is Jesus, my friends? He is the “I will” to the petition of mercy, to the petition of healing, to the act of faith, and to they who seek a miraculous change of livelihood. Christ lives, and He honors those who trust in Him.

morning:

And He said, “Go, and preach the Gospel, but provide nothing for yourselves, for the workman is worthy of his hire”. The Lord, self-proclaimed, and rightly so, requires laborers who will neither be bought nor sold, for the righteous man and the prophet alike have their reward, with they that accept. In this His parables, He has clarified and made known to His subjects that the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a sower, leaven, a fish net, a pearl of great price, and goodly pearls. Nevertheless the value of the kingdom is found within the heart, where Christ plants the seed, and the angels reap, but not all receive the benefit. Discipleship is at great cost, for it is likened to a cross, where rest is assured. The burden for souls is a light burden and an easy yoke. On how many accounts did Christ warn His friends that death was His portion? Yet there be a few that shall not taste death, namely, the chosen, the elect. There are the Moses, who must be resurrected, and there are the Elijah’s, who shall be translated. To follow Christ is to forgive men their trespasses, to shake the dust from our feet, to beware of the leaven of the wolves, and to be “wise as serpents, yet harmless as doves”. We may ask ourselves, is the work field rough? Is it demanding? Christ has ordered that we shall be accepted of many, though the wilderness was His house of prayer. Under no man’s roof did He lay His head, except in Peter’s home, where He healed his sick. (The gates of hell shall never prevail against that Stone.) It was in the wilderness He fed the multitudes, who for three days had continued steadfast. It was His tireless ministry that caused the hungry flock to remain.  But the power from on high is ours, if we would but hold fast to a mustard seed of faith, and look to Him who walks upon the waters.

“Let the little children come, for of such is the kingdom of heaven”— they that are humble and seek not the highest position of honor. The baptism of Christ is a bloody baptism. May we petition of Him mercies in abundance, for He will have compassion, and His eye is good. The reward is certain, and those who have left all shall receive an hundredfold both in this life and in the life to come. After we have sold our possessions and given to the poor that we have unrighteously misused, then shall our good be accounted of for a treasure in heaven, where our hearts belong. Brethren, it is needful that we keep the commandments, and though many have not strayed, may we seek the lost sheep of Israel and bring them back to the fold, for this is our duty, and this is our Sabbath rest on this side of eternity. The kingdom of heaven demands all, that His righteousness may exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees within our hearts. After our sins have been forgiven by the sign of Jonas and the signs of the times, after we have been washed by the oceans and seas, then shall we too begin to upbraid the cities, preach the kingdom of God, cast out devils and heal the sick. Forget houses and lands, father and mother, sister and brother. Go. Secure the throne of grace, and may the angels draw in the harvest.

Day 2

evening:

Yet the greatest display of His heavenly royalty was as the burden of an ass, treading forth triumphantly toward the slaughterhouse. They that spread forth the palms verily would have crowned Him King, but are likened unto a fig tree with leaves, bearing no fruit. Cursed be the fruitless tree; for outwardly she appears promising, but has made promises to her own detriment. Hypocrisy is the great evil wherewith the heathen nations are found to be more righteous. Yet if the stones cry not, the babes surely will, for the ordinance of strength is the perfection of faith.

Shall we tempt the God, whose name is Jealous? Is not His authority the sign wherewith we love Him with the whole heart, mind, and soul? This is the greatest commandment, and to love the neighbor as myself is the standard by which righteousness shall be judged. This is before the resurrection, because the eating, the drinking, the marriage and the giving into marriage is the state before the floods that testified against that antediluvian world. The doctrine of Christ is secure, and the common people and sinners shall befit salvation, clothed with the proper wedding garments. What more could Christ have done? What more could He have said, but that He would be hated and killed by the remnant? The churches are guilty of the blood of Christ, and His servants shall partake of the same cup, the same baptism. Faith could accomplish impossible things if the church would just believe. But we are commissioned into the highways and byways, whereby the servants may bid all to come to the Stone which the builders rejected. It is marvelous indeed if the eye is open.

Christ lives, and His Father is our Father. After the signs have been fulfilled, whether we be in prison or scourged or crucified, may we lift up our heads, for our redemption draweth nigh. Every eye shall see Him, and we shall once more cry, “Hosanna! Our affliction is ended.”

morning:

Are we not all virgins? Yet do a portion lack wisdom for reserves. Ought we to be found wanting when the bridegroom returns? Alas what great lack indeed! For the bridegroom has supplied much to fill. Except we be found as the wicked and slothful servant, we shall find that the faith of the saints supersedes that of mine. I remember to ask that I may receive the testimony and faith of Jesus. He prophesied to His disciples early of His death, for whose blood is on the garment? Whose blood is on the doorposts? They feared not to cast lots, alas! They feared not to buffet, smite and scourge Him; and shall we be spared? Except we be Pilate or Judas, weak or indecisive, the cross is certain. Let us not, therefore, be like Peter, bold in assumption. The cup is ours to share, and the ministry begins here, where the test is hottest. If we partake today in the vineyard, today we shall join the sheepfold. “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world.”

Day 3

evening:

The humanity of Jesus in selfless service. His gentle, yet firm tone, authoritative, yet humble speech highlights the power of His word. He upon whose childhood was deliberately silenced until His Father’s pleasure was proof of His commonality to mankind. ‘The Son of Man’ was He called and a man He was. The time was near and the message remained that of repentance. He was famous, but was He loved? He was surrounded, but was He accepted? On one account was He charged with blasphemy, on another was He blasphemed against. He speaks of a bridegroom, of which He is, but where is the bride? His Sonship to the Father was well known, begotten though He be. His messenger knew His message before he met He whom the message spoke of. Thus prophecy speaks for itself.

“Thou art the Holy One of God,” said the devils, and they were cast out. Touched by the feeling of their infirmities, He restored the bloody woman and the dead child. “Go,” said He to some, but “don’t tell,” said He to others. “Peace, be still”; “do not be afraid, only believe.” And thus the good ground bears fruit until the harvest is past. We speak in parables because so did He.

morning:

Salt is the finishing touch, the savor of grace and goodness, the completion of a savory dish. Who burneth the sacrifice? Who savoureth the meat? The Spirit of fasting and prayer are to the order of self denial and the cross that follows the Christ of God. The seas may roar, but the winds are calm and the fish are plenty.  There is no food, but the bread is multiplied. Tireless are the efforts of the Master and His disciples, for there is torment in the streets. Bewildering is the heart of unbelief, hardened by blindness and dumbness and hypocrisy. Twice our Savior spat, and twofold were the miracles, by reason of unbelief. Unclean spirits are the cause, but power has been imbued from on high, if only the chosen would follow Him up into an high mountain and commune with Him there. There shall we see the transfiguration, the Moses’ and the Elias’ and the tabernacle of God with men. The hidden things shall not be hid forever, for the Great Physician is now near, and the sheep shall flock to their Shepherd. The remnant shall be placed in baskets.

Day 4

evening:

Fornication is the only legal ground for divorce, and a man or woman who divorces his or her spouse without cause commits adultery whether or not the other remarries. In other words, extramarital relations are not the grounds for divorce, as they succeed fornication, being adultery. Fornication is the term for masturbation and pornography, as they be the only plausible reasons for divorce. Namely, the very act of putting away is divorce, therefore the first marriage is the only marriage. It would befit humanity to reconcile back to their first spouse, for it is God-ordained. We do not speak of sodomy, but of self-love and pride.

Riches are a snare and to they caught therein— we wish a swift blessing upon them, as the riches of heaven are hid from them. Children are wise to obey. Our portion of the cup shall equip us to enter the pearly gates. A humble esteem will find us wanting as we cry, “Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.”

Ministers minister, and servants serve.

morning:

When Christ foretold His disciples of His death, often did they shut their ears, for the fellowship sufferings of the Gospel were a stumblingblock to them; the unity of the Spirit bade them reject earthly good. Instead, “behold”, said they, “what magnificent stones these be!” But Christ was not fooled, neither could He be dissuaded; the cross is certain. Though the crowds pressed eagerly to hear Him gladly, though they strawed their garments upon the grounds and hailed Him, ”Hosanna, the Prince of Peace,” beyond were the devils of darkness lurking so as to take Him by force. Again and again, death loomed, until death came. So shall it be in the end of the world, where the events do shew forth a magnitude of pending evil. Yet even the wars and pestilences be insufficient to call the day of the Lord, for the day of the Lord shall be religious by nature. We know not the hour, but we are bid to watch and to pray, entailing the strength required to stand is by the Spirit that caused Pilate to marvel. There are neither swords nor staves, there is only the Word put to the test. Shall we betray Him as one that never should have been born? Or shall we deny Him as one that must needs run and weep? He with his own garments shall flee naked, but He with Christ’s garments need not cast lots, for they were parted for you and I. Whether we be the Cyrenian or Mary, we partake of the flesh of that Passover, where the New Testament is coupled with blood unto the Vine that produces much fruit. And He is risen and seated at the right hand of God, awaiting to drink of the fruit, sweet, and not at all bitter. The cup, then, is delicious to share, but not to dip our hands into. We shall drink it as it comes, and the hour shall not pass from us. God’s will be done.

Day 5

"My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior, For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden; for, behold, from henceforth shall all generations call me blessed. For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation. He hath showed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath holpen His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to His seed forever."

Day 6

morning:

The order of things is found here, where chronology has its place, as by the third gospel, beginning with the eldest. As by God His promises do come, time is prophecy, and nothing more. It is due by the priest to minister in prayer and in the shining of the lampposts, as by a candlelight, in the holy place. There is yet a veil, which shall soon be removed for the revelation of a message, named John. The consequences of unbelief in priestly ministry is dumbness, not foolishness. The promise of the Spirit is sure, and the womb leaps for joy at the sound of salvation. Abide where the hill country brings refuge, and return to be graced and blessed. She was honored above all, and I am she. The Son, named Christ, is blessed at birth, blessed by Simeon, blessed by Anna, blessed in childhood, blessed in the synagogue, blessed amongst the doctors, blessed to be about His Father’s business. To what purpose was the doubt of Mary and Joseph, knowing their Son was gentle and obedient, but strong in spirit and very wise? The adoption of humanity is a great hierarchy; the baptism of repentance is due onto all, not as fleeing from the wrath to come, but as the fruit of a good tree, unable to bear evil. And this is the test: for forty days is the hour of temptation. Has it not been written? Adopt therefore also the power of the Writ to assert the overcoming. We fish for men along the coasts of every sea and the Mediterranean; fish, fish in abundance have we. The call will always be, “Follow me”.

And shall we take heed to the accusations of the false brethren? Wisdom is her own defense. Let the words of Christ speak, and rejoice and be blessed, both in mourning and in hunger and in sorrow and in persecution. The perfection of mercy is kin to the Father Himself. In this country will He never be accepted. “Physician, heal thyself”, though the poor remain needy, the possession of devils remain, the captive remain bound, the heart remains broken. How unchristlike! It is lawful to do good and to pour out the soul for the lost. It is lawful to heal on the sabbath, and to assure the forgiveness of God. It is lawful both to speak and to act; not for the sake of worthiness, for unworthy we be! He wills both to cleanse and to restore, though some scars remain as His and as mine. We are one. I have washed His feet with my tears and anointed Him with an expensive gift, and my hands are soiled but my hair is His. To whom much is forgiven, the same is thankful and returns the favor. I am admonished to give one coat out of two, to borrow and not receive, to double the mileage, to love where there is hate, to do good where there is evil, and to be the good ground from which the sower hath sowed his seed. Though the sons of men be dead, and I a widow, He is full of compassion, and I will meet with Him upon an high mountain to pray. 12 years, brethren, is nothing. On the twelfth year, we shall arise, and no laughter shall be found in the voices of the scornful. Have faith in God, and there will be no more sea nor uproar.

Day 7

evening:

May it be abundantly clear that the preaching of the gospel is simple and requires not the fanciful clothing, nor rich, large bags, nor handy running shoes, nor warm furry delicate clothing. The warrior on the field has his home in the heart of a kind neighbor, and feeds on the gentleness of those receptive to the kingdom. The power of God unto men is as Satan falling as a flash of lightning, and may he break his head! The spirits are subject to those subject to the Spirit, and names are written in heaven that say peace to those who love the law, and dust to those who live like Sodom! Capernaum is the Seventh-day Adventist church, and woe unto them! Woe also unto the experts of the law! Nevertheless, the foundation is sure, and there is no fear where the word of the Lord is. If the hypocrites be as leaven, the church must partake of unleavened bread. Nevertheless, the little leaven of faith is as the mustard seed of faith upon goodly, fertilized ground. Beware of covetousness! The treasure is Christ, and we shan’t sell for mammon, but for alms. The word of God is my strength, and I am not afraid. Jesus is the Son of God.

morning:

Yet these ten times from the beginning hath Christ forewarned not only of His sufferings, but also of His death. To what purpose was a prophecy that could not be understood? The same shall be our lot. We are told also that the servant is not above his Master; that it is enough for the servant to be as His master, but in this particular instance, may I emphasize that it is the servant’s mere duty to do that which he was asked, and then exclaim his unprofitable position. It’d be wise to, at the very least, place God’s own in usury, but he that is faithful and just shall steward the Master’s money for tenfold, fivefold, threefold. Why tempt we God? Why use we craft? Did not we destroy the beloved Son and the servants? Thus the people of God have forfeited their right into the kingdom unless they sell all they have and give to the poor. Now is the time, for the abomination of desolation draweth nigh. Soon shall the country be compassed about by the Gentiles of the East and the North. We were bid once and are bid once more to Remember Lot’s wife. Shall we marry and plant and dig, and forget the coming of the Son of man? Brethren, the gospels are for emphasis. Whatsoever is hid here shall be as a testimony to the magistrates and council members. Though I be flogged in the synagogue and cast out and blasphemed, God shall stand in my defense, and not one hair of my head shall perish. It behooves us therefore, Christians, to patiently possess our souls, for the powers of heaven shall be fearfully shaken, the seas shall roar, and the tribulation shall sting. Woe to pregnant women, thou shouldest have awaited the resurrection. There is no peace; there shall be division in the homes. Thus saith the Lord. But fear not, we are of more value than many sparrows. May our clothing be the righteousness of Christ and our daily bread the word of life. Pray always, faint not, have faith, and gladly receive the engrafted word, for today salvation hath come into thine house. Be blessed in the Highest, O Lord Jesus, son of David. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna.

Day 8

evening:

And these are the words of prophecy, as written in the law of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms, that Jesus is the blood of the covenant, and the passover with which He desired to eat of. When at that supper, they partook of the same cup, so do we in remembrance of Him. May we bear in mind always that neither Herod nor Pilate saw guile nor offense nor fault in the Man; yet did not the pangs of persecution withhold their fiery arms. These things ought to have occurred, and they shall once more occur; for the tarrying at Jerusalem is for the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. May the heart burn vehemently. Amen.

morning:

What care was wrought in the opening statements: the Word of God from the beginning!— once Spirit, now clothed with flesh, for Spirits have not flesh nor blood. That Word, saith the Scriptures, is the foundation of belief, as opposed to the frailty of sight, yet though the miracles and signs bear witness to the truth. What need have we of further witnesses? They that love the truth shall be brought into truth and united by truth. Water is alive! Water from a well, water from the waterspouts, water from the river, and water as wine. Where there is light, there is darkness; as the light would fain have brightened the corners, but the darkness fled for fear. Bind me, Lord, by the power of Your Word. Judge my work.

Day 9

evening:

To eat and to drink are the attributes of the maintenance of life, necessary to the body as to the soul and spirit. Man, composed of flesh and blood, receives only that which was given to him by God in the beginning; but true, adequate nutrition is Christ. With His flesh we masticate; with His blood we quench our thirst. We are promised in agonizing tears, that if any man come to Christ, out of his belly shall flow fountains of living water. Here the interest is piqued, for even the manna of God is incomparable. In other words, brethren, in the wilderness and desert there is food. Consider this, how the loaves faded not away neither did they decrease. Christ is life in abundance, and He only requires faith. How daring then, be the adversaries, who instead of holy fear, instill doubt and feed upon rage. Christ bears witness of Himself as does the Father bear witness of Him; therefore the Spirit, graced abundantly, is the third Testament, namely, the Spirit of prophecy. Here, there is neither lust nor sin, for we serve not sin. We shall sin no more, as did Mary and the blind man when He bid them so. Never a man spake as this man! What reason have we to withhold our love? He that believeth is not condemned, but rather hath eternal life. These hard sayings, they that be borne of the Spirit and of eternal life, expressly stateth that death is but a temporary hold, and they shall be returned by the Father unto the Son! Eternal life is everlasting joy! Though we be blind, then shall we see, for the Shepherd is our pasture without and within. We know His voice, we recognize His Word; that word that caused division. May we not seek for miracles, but instead may we covet the quiet mountaintops where we may commune with Him freely. If the Son sets us free, we are free indeed. There is no honour of self here; may God be honored and glorified from henceforth and forever, for His will shall we seek all the days of our lives, and our enemies shall not be able to gainsay nor resist, though they pick up stones to cast them. For the Son, yea the Son, hath power to take life and to give life. I have life, and no man shall take it from me! The Light hath told me so; thus saith the Lord God. Praise the Lord, worship thou Him, and sin no more.

morning:

Here is the plenitude of Red, that God is come into the world and habited with man pleading that we too may abide. The Vine speaketh expressly in tones of winery and greenery and husbandry, where comfort is. The eyes of many be blind and dark, but the truth is received into the heart gladly, where Christ is glorified and raised up above all. The upper room evidences His authority, for in the ordinance of humility we take part and are cleansed.  Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for the brethren. We shall behold Him and rejoice, for we have seen the Father, and He is the resurrection and the life.We know the Way into the holy places, and we follow Him there. We behold His glory and are transformed into lively branches, pruned, and able to bear much fruit. In the winter, fruit; in the spring, fruit; in the summer, fruit; in the fall, fruit. Let us therefore keep the commandments, do righteousness, and covenant to eat the Passover lamb and sprinkle His blood upon our posts.

Day 10

evening:

The gospels conclude in this manner; a heartfelt prayer from the mouth of God’s own Son on behalf of those whom He would send into the world to finish the work. What privilege indeed, whose name shall be found upon the lips of the Holy One, in petition to the Holy and Righteous Father, that we may be one with Him as He is with the Father. The condescension of Christ to humanity was for the uplifting of humanity to God, and that not one of His own may be lost. He whose eyes were drawn above, who knelt fervently in the cold of night, hath a garden for every heart. There is a prayer garden as there is a burial garden. Both are beautiful, though weeping be the dew that hydrateth the earth. There are the angels, singing, waiting for the curious heart to ponder the eternities ahead. There is the anointing, the ointment, the bitter herbs, but lastly the resurrection of the righteous. Oh! Whether we tarry until His return, or whether we be bound and crucified—- I say boldly—-, for I shall be crucified facing Christ and His cross; neither am I worthy to be as the Master. He it is that giveth fish to the net, that the net be full, yet breaketh not. The account is holy, wholesome, and magnificent. Indeed, the world cannot contain the books to be written, for He is from everlasting to everlasting. Behold the Man! Behold the Truth! Behold the King of the Jews! His Kingdom is not of this world, and neither are we; therefore we do not fight with sword and staves and lanterns, but with the Holy Spirit that has been breathed upon us, wherein man becomes a living soul. We are living souls, and in the near, yea, near future, the prayer of Christ shall be utterly fulfilled. The time is at hand. Repent.

morning:

Thenceforth begins the Commission and its wonders and miracles, the signs of which the hypocrites seek. On one accord must we be, in prayers and fastings and in the afflictions of the soul. In the Upper Room must we be, united as one, and seeking the Holy Ghost. Until then, God hath ordained that a revival and baptism of repentance be due. With the baptism of John, we are washed; with the baptism of Christ, our sins are forgiven, and we are refreshed. It is good news to have peace with God. It is good news to be bathed with fire and to go forth boldly, without fear, and daily persevering in the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Yea, I say doctrine, for it be needful to be in accordance of rightful teaching. The truth cuts the heart and pricks the conscience, begging the question, “What shall we do?” And we shall obey God, follow His ways, and partake of His sufferings, wherein we rejoice. Freedom is ours and cannot be withheld, for by the authority of Heaven and in the name of Jesus do we these things. The councils and the senate cannot comprehend, but the doctors are vigilant, for they be found in need of healing. We praise the God of the heavens and the earth and all that in them is, and there is no other name, no other teaching, no other gospel, but the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we, too, shall be found in one mind and in one spirit, then may we know that we live not for ourselves, but to have all things in common— for the selling of our possessions, houses and lands as alms for the poor and needy. Then shall we see the signs, and the miracles of which the apostles partook. In these last days we may be sure and certain that the seed of the resurrection is ours and in us and working through us and will be manifest greatly. All power be to the Most High King, and to His Son Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Ghost. We are witnesses.

Day 11

Brethren, the house of God is in serious need of repairs and personal ministries. This is a job for the laymen, chosen for the work of the widows. Deacons, deaconesses, live outside of self and be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is not reason that there be breaches or lack of adequate heating nor airflow in any department or member’s home. The feeding of the saints is required. Why do the people of God famish? The church is responsible for the safety of each and every soul. Go and preach the kingdom of God, but neglect not the least of these.

Day 12

evening:

“And the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.” Amos 9:13,14

The stripes planted on the skin are the strips of the plow, where even the stones cannot hold. The gospel is for the Jews and the Gentiles, though unworthy we be. Nothing is uncommon about the rejection of Christ by the Jews, for thus it was prophesied of them. We know plainly that persecution is the pledge of entrance into the kingdom of God, but we know also more abundantly that but fasting and prayers shall spare the least. Neither threats nor prisons nor bonds nor death can keep us from the faith, and with the heart we steadily believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that the Jews are to this day reminders that desolation is but the result of rebellion— inciters of lawlessness— and guilty. We are told by Scripture to abandon every idol and to abstain from unclean meats and fornication. Abandon the Fans; we care not for the circumcision of the flesh, but of the Spirit. Be clothed, brethren, and may the sisters, too, find trade in clothing, as that pertaineth to virtue. And may we never forget the Sabbath day.

morning:

Brethren! The Gospel of Christ is simple. The Scriptures had once foretold of One who should come into the world and deliver its inhabitants from their defilement and sin. The Creator, made to worship, created humans to worship Him, and verily do humans worship, but oftener than not, they worship that which have no power, or devils themselves. But the Christ, Jesus the Son of God, came to set forth the Way and lead men into all truth. He it is that the Jews condemned and crucified, delivering Him into the hands of heathen nations, the Romans. Once again has He been delivered into the hands of the Romans, who lie and say the Sabbath is the first day of the week, namely, Sunday. It is as the Greeks who worship the works of God as opposed to the Creator God, who made the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the planets. And like Gallio said, the state has no say or matter in religious laws. The Evangelicals are at fault as well as the Jews, who incite opposition to the truth and teach men to dishonor God through legislation. The blood of the saints be on them and they shall drink the blood of their offerings when the plagues at last shall be poured out upon them! Drink it! The wrath of God is on your heads.

Day 13

morning:

The cause of the gospel is bonds and persecution; it is the cross, but the word of the Lord is bold. We have been foretold and forewarned that the greater part will not believe. The storm will be contrary and abstinence will not be wanting, nor prayers. There will be blasphemy and the people will be stirred to arouse opposition and dissension. There will be false testimonies and false accusations. Behold the testimony of Paul testifying of Jesus Christ, of whom the prophets and the law had long prophesied of. From the deputies, to the state councils, and courts, to the federal prisons of the supreme court, the word of God must be preached. They will behold our innocence and desire to free the righteous saints, were it not for the favor of the people and the desire for gain, power, and wealth. The gospel is for the Gentiles, and they that are sick; not for the Jews and they that need not a physician. There will be stripes, but all this for the cause of Christ to preach the gospel unto all the world. Then shall the end come. Those who die, will they not be resurrected? Is not this the blessed hope of which our forefathers rejoiced to see, and hoped to partake? The work begins and ends here, as the Holy Ghost will be laid upon they that call upon the name of the Lord. They will seek to kill the righteous, but not an hair of our heads shall perish without the will of the Father. In our patience, may we possess our own souls. It is better yet to believe and be forgiven, than to bear the guilt of our brethren’s blood. We are indeed our brother’s keeper, but “Fear not”, saith the Christ, for we shall witness whithersoever He sendeth until the mission be over. Be of good courage. Have faith. Remember Paul’s bonds, and may we not say, “Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian,” for Christ indeed is the Way, and righteousness proceedeth Him, shining brighter than the sun. It is hard to kick against the pricks, so we accept them and choose instead to walk that Way.

Day 14

evening:

The law of truth speaks for itself, as do the humans bound to the unchangeable. Thus the world is angry, unable to refute the divine claims. It is true that the mirror of righteousness is difficult to behold. Thus was the mission of Christ, for as verily as death be part of the human experience, life is the promise of all who believe. The righteousness of the law is not to kill but to highlight the reason for giving Christ, the reason for the atonement, the reason for the mercy seat. The good news of the gospel is to give man a Savior who died for sinner’s stead, to raise him up again. Therefore are we joint-heirs and children of God, and the missing link is simple: faith. Only to believe are we commissioned, and we are made righteous by the merit of Christ and His atoning blood. Doth man need more? His love is inseparable and His work complete. Afterwards, any and all who will choose disbelief is condemned in judgment. Because of Christ, we yield, but the servants of sin shall get their just recompense, for he needed not suffer the wrath of God against unrighteousness. We have Christ, therefore we want not, for our salvation is full, and every provision has been made and exceeds expectation. Dare I say, yielding to Christ makes salvation easy, as it is free. May we heed the exhortations of Paul, vindicate God’s law and character, and elevate the standard to its rightful place, for God will judge and avenge, and death will be the guilty man’s portion. Praise God Christ died in my stead!

morning:

It would be mine and the will of God’s that the Israelites of the flesh would turn to God and believe for the sake of their adoption in Christ and Abraham. As told by they of old, “in Isaac shall thy seed be called”, and they verily be of that seed, though rejected by God and twice destroyed.  Is it not time that the good olive tree once more be grafted back into its root? Is not Christ the root and the vine, of which we are branches? The Gentile world has indeed known and accepted Christ; and they of the flesh according to the patriarchs are beckoned to return. It is high time for you to awaken and accept Christ. It is high time to accept the promise and the covenant and follow that which is rightly named righteousness by faith. It is the mercies of God that the doors of probation have not yet closed, and the mercies furthermore that they which were once rejected may once more be accepted. It is the compassion of God that faileth not, and for the elect’s sake, return quickly unto the fold, for the end of time will be cut short. And may I beckon to those who, for the sake of entertainment, dive into the knowledge of evil under the pretense of exposing evil; but thus saith the Scriptures, “be wise concerning good, and simple concerning evil.” The scriptures are our safeguard, and the devils who believe and tremble will do their work of deception. But Christ will uphold His saints, if they present their bodies a living sacrifice and worship Him wholly. The renewing of our minds will work that which will transform the character and befit us for salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. May the Spirit dwell with us, in us, and among us until the day of Jesus Christ. May we have charity one toward the other. May we obey the order of the powers that be. May we with conscience live according to the faith, not laying any stumbling block before the weak. May we regard ourselves as humble, not high-minded, but keep our own, strengthen the brethren, and judge not, lest we be judged; for righteousness cometh not by works, but of faith. Love one another, and fulfill the law. And through Him, may we be sanctified through the knowledge of Him who called us, and we shall partake of His glory to come. Amen.

Day 15

The wisdom of God is found through the preaching of the gospel, where there can be no resistance or gainsay. The cross is both the wisdom and power of God, where self-denial is fellowship with the Spirit. Consider then, the alternative forms of religion, where God is not preached nor worshiped, how futile earthly philosophy is. Here, spiritualism is debunked, for Jesus-Christ is the only One able to impart life. No matter what man may say, may we stand firm and steadfast, pleading for the mind of Christ. Send forth Thy Spirit Lord, upon me and my family, and those who afterward will believe through the wisdom and power of your Word.

Day 16

evening:

When the body glorifies God in whatsoever it doeth, the Spirit loves to dwell. The mind of Christ is befitting then, for worship. We must all drink of the cup of blessing and partake of the bread. Why therefore do we tempt God in burning lust and covetousness? Unrighteousness is evil in the sight of God and will by no means enter into the kingdom. To the virgin and to the married, the work of the Lord in focused servitude is better than in the days of Lot and Noah. Idolatry and fornication are cause for death, and the use of meat is the drug. The earth is degraded; the people are polluted with sin. We judge not, but the members of the church of Christ must not be so. Separate, thenceforth, from the unclean thing, and have the new leaven of godliness and sincere simplicity in yourselves. The calling is sure, and to abide therein is for our sanctification and justification. We hope for the glorification of the body, if we will but surrender the temple of God to Him. We are not our own, therefore temperance is due, and the temptation is for our edification. God tempts no man, but if we would seek Him, we shall find the way of escape. In this is my hope, that I might not sin against Him. Finally, I am free.

morning:

We thank God this morning for the riches of His grace through the ministry of the gifts. We thank God that He is no respecter of persons, but that every member should steward a talent given him by the Spirit, for the edification of the church. We thank God for the members that preach and teach and reach souls abroad and locally. We thank God that joy is unbound as we come together in unity for the work that is soon to end. We prophesy and speak in tongues, but most of all, we have love one for another. By this shall all men know that we are Christ’s disciples, if the charity of His heart doth not fail within us. We thank God for the example of His Son Jesus Christ, who loved us with an everlasting love, and died that our sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come. The times of refreshing shall surely come, and the edification of the church will be full, when at last the resurrection shall bind our souls in glory in the church of God. His body is our tabernacle, and we glory in this: that we partake of His communion as oft as we remember Him. I remember Him, and worthily partake; not that I were worthy, but that His grace hath filled me. Our fellowship is in this, that the cross be not blasphemed by unbelievers; though it be blasphemed, but to their shame. We shall behold Him who was pierced for our transgressions, and be raised up and quickened by His glorious word, where death shall have no sting, and the strength of sin, being the law, shall no more condemn. Our hope is in the Creator God, who made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is; the stars and the moon and the sun; the celestial bodies and the terrestrial bodies. We await the death of the terrestrial, that the new Earth may be our home for the rest of eternity. We believe in the triumphant God, and our victory is by faith in His Name. Be ye therefore steadfast, O church of God; our redemption draweth nigher and nigh.

Day 17

evening:

It would behove me well to recall the second epistle to the Corinthians in that convenient time. The Lord speaks earnestly of the activity of His comfort. Should we then not be comforted? What shall we say in the face of trials, tribulations, accusations, destruction, bad report, and danger? We ought not to think highly of ourselves, maintaining the faith in opposition. It is the Spirit of Christ who has told us not to premeditate our responses, for the Lord Himself will remind us. Have we truly repented? Has godly sorrow wrought a carefulness and zeal in our hearts? Have we separated from the unclean thing? Will the Lord receive us? Are our cases cleared? Do we walk by faith and not by sight? The judgment seat of Christ is not water, but fire and blood. Are we steadfast and immoveable? When the storm arises, will we maintain our position? Do we believe in the Spirit and the comfort we derive in dwelling with Him? Is the vail lifted from our eyes? The Testament is for the individual, and I speak of myself. Let us therefore consider both the letter and the apostleship of Paul. Let us consider the exhortations found in the written Word. Let us consider the humanity of Paul, but the divinity of the writings. They are for me. They are for you, for God speaks and He lives.

morning:

Wherefore is then glorying? In Christ Jesus, and in the infirmities of the flesh, for from now and henceforth we live not to the flesh, but to the Spirit which bringeth life. There are they which would speak haughty things against the church of Christ, alleging that we are boastful and proud, but is not Christ the Lord of glory of whom we should not be ashamed? It is the world that has adopted pride, to their own shame; but we have freedom and liberty onto righteousness, and not to sin. Therefore the law of liberty is through the law of faith, not as though works should commend us to God, but as a debt of love. Simply put, the law brings us to Christ, as impossible to keep of human strength; then the grace of Christ fulfills the law through the body of Jesus Christ, of whom we are crucified; and He accomplishes the fulfillment of His law in our bodies and spirits. Salvation then, brethren, is abundantly free, and may we never look upon ourselves, but in the ministry of Christ through the members of His body. Though we be weak, His strength is made perfect. We carry the stripes of persecution upon our backs, rejoicing that the stripes were once His. We write boldly for the execution of the letter, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, goodness, meekness, faith, and temperance. We humble our hearts and travail for the salvation of lost souls, and the peace of Christ rests upon us as the token of His strength. May the God of grace bestow upon us His Spirit forever. Amen.

Day 18

morning:

The last letter of the church is for the first order of the church; that which the body of Christ is led by Christ himself. On the account of the formation of the early church, though apostasy and idolatry be rampant, it is critical to both note and remember that the things unseen are rich and incredibly wealthy. Thus the mystery of Christ encompasseth all that cannot be measured; breadth, height, length and depth. So is the love of Christ. Considering therefore the eternal weight of glory, how humbled our hearts must bow, that the gift of Christ is free. The mystery of which the Gentiles partake is the adoption of God, the redemption of the soul, freedom from sin, and eternal joy. The minutest atom may have somewhat to speak, abiding in that which is both dense and perfect. Righteousness, therefore, and holiness becometh the habitation of God through the Spirit of God in man, if truly we are armored. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but the far above principalities and powers and all that is named is Christ. He stands as the head of all in all, wherewith He hath brought together the joy of reconciliation through His flesh, bruised for the enmity of ordinances. Dead were we in transgression and sin, but now have we all of heaven, all of earth, and all the fulness of God bodily. Yea, though the prince of evil be grim, but far brighter and excellent in strength is the Light of the world. In this we glory, not that our hearts be haughty and proud, but that we labor in faith for the accomplishment of hope— Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe, the head of every man and the head of every earthly ruler.

Day 19

evening:

Friends, behold the Christ, equal with God but of no reputation, humbling Himself even unto the death of the cross. What, then, is gain if not loss, for the excellency of Jesus Christ, unto the resurrection of the dead? Therefore whether we live or die, we are Christ’s. Our calling and election beg for surety, and we know the gift abounds to work for our good. He who has begun the work will surely bring it unto salvation. Bonds are nothing; sorrow and suffering are joy. May our thoughts be holy, honest, pure, just, and of good report. God’s grace is sufficient, if we’d but make our prayers and requests known unto God, that He may supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. We can do all things— as of the sacrifice of a sweet smelling odour, the odor of the apothecary. Eternal life is a gift, therefore rejoice!

Day 20

evening:

I write with great burden of heart, for my work precedes me as needful for a future hour. I have heretofore not suffered for the gospel, for yet is the test lacking. I would that affliction shall find me, that the comfort of the Scriptures, and the faith of the saints should be fulfilled in me. I find that the epistles were written for the Laodicean church, cold and lukewarm, lacking in the fire of zeal and baptism of the Spirit. The truth sets Christ at the head, the firstborn, the preeminence, and the fulness. Oh, that the body would set her eyes upon things above! We ought to be holy, just and unblameable, yet we are not. We ought to greet another with a holy kiss, yet we do not. We ought to carry the bond of charity, yet we do not. The body of Christ is inactive, or the dead should have already risen. I say this to my shame. The practice of the gospel is lost, or our daily lives would reflect the fellowship in love and of distress. The body is selfish, gratifying self in lust and fornication. And shall one enter the kingdom of God that is covetous? Where is our sanctification? If we have not the Spirit, it is our own fault. If verily we abode in the Scriptures, we would find more likeness to Christ, of whom we so faithfully behold, if verily we did behold! What a priceless pearl is the Word of God. Have mercy upon my soul, O God.

morning:

To obey is better than sacrifice, and the word of obedience is to depart from evildoers after the admonishing, and to eat only that which labour has provided. The day of the Lord draweth nigh; let us not be of they which fall away to iniquity and deceit. Satan has prepared persecutions and a great show of unrighteousness, named Wicked, emboldened by the man of sin. But the grace of God will sustain His own that they may stand. The affliction is light and the day swift! Soon, and very soon, we shall see the King. Let us thank the Lord daily for His benefits.

Day 21

morning:

Now that the work of Christ has been perfectly established, built upon by the apostles, we exhort the brethren to walk unto the vocation wherewith they have been called. For the youth and they of childlikeness, be strong in the faith, and walk blamelessly. Maintain that which has been taught in the Scriptures, deviating from nothing, avoiding vain babblers and idle philosophy; for in the last days many shall depart from the faith. We are not of those that release the cord of charity onto godliness. Instead, we strive for the mystery of God manifesting himself in human flesh, living perfectly, and partaking of the company of angels. The mystery, being made known to those who knew not, is received by all who will believe, up into glory. Furthermore, they that rule the church, may they also be blameless, married to one spouse, and knowledgable in all things spiritual, able to lead the flock. The women are exhorted to keep silence, and not to usurp the authority that rightfully belongs to the man. Her beauty is shamefacedness and sobriety and simplicity. We are not of those that seek the costly apparels and the pearls and the gold, but of those that carry Christ in our hearts, that the meekness of the gospel may be acceptable unto all. The youth shall finish the work and lead the brethren. And what shall Christ do unto those that believe? He will give them the Spirit of prophecy. May the only wise God, immortal and invisible, abide eternally as King. Amen.

Day 22

morning:

Finally, concerning the realization of righteousness, we are called to follow the right, seek faith, love and hope. Twice are we admonished to shun vain babbling, for they will lead to unrighteousness and strip away the faith we have once believed. Faith is a good fight, and worthy of mastery, as a soldier in war. The foundation of God has the seal of His command, that we depart from iniquity and flee youthful lusts. We have not the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind. I am encouraged in this, knowing that the scriptures are able to make me wise unto salvation, if I study to show myself approved and unashamed. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for He cannot lie nor deny himself. He who is faithful has also called me to lay hold of eternal life and to be steadfast. To endure hardness am I also called, for all they that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Therefore, we know whom we have believed and are persuaded that He is able to keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day. In the latter days, perilous times shall come. The sciences of this world, the unsound doctrines, and the deceivers will wax great. Men indeed are lovers of themselves and proud and boastful. The children indeed disobey their parents with unthankful and unholy hearts. Indeed there is strife and rivalry; but the children of God will stir up the gift of God and receive an abundant crown of righteousness, for we have loved Him and His appearing in faith and hope. This vessel is sewn in honor, and the dross has been purged away. The doctrine therefore, is profitable for instruction and reproof, that the man of God may be perfect and throughly furnished unto all good works. When the judgement shall sit, the righteous judge will remember us, and we shall be spared. We are men and women of God. Let us therefore walk headstrong, and follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. Amen.

Day 23

evening:

Godliness is due. Obedience is due. Kill everything that is not of this doctrine.

morning:

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake unto us by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by His Son. And again, to whom else did God bestow the privilege of Son? To whom do the angels worship? Unto whom was given a greater name than the name of Jesus? He, born of human flesh, hath suffered in the flesh, that He might succor us that are tempted, obtaining an everlasting victory in the flesh for our sakes. He, of whom the angels said, ‘He shall save His people from their sins’, with strong tears and crying made intercession for us, that we might not be saved by works, but by the believing of the gospel of faith. Now must we go on to perfection, as He hath by inheritance obtained a priceless gift on our behalf. He lives forever, and our sufferings hath He borne. Therefore, today, if we hear His voice, we need not harden our hearts, nor tempt God, nor provoke Him. There remaineth therefore a rest, whereof we may glory, but to labour for that rest are we. With perseverance and hope, we are steadfast and anchored. Our souls are kept before the throne of grace, where we may both petition mercy and receive it. Therefore our tithes, our temples, our talents, our treasures, and our time are His. He who was made lower than the angels shall uplift they whose flesh He took, that He may elevate them at the right hand of the Majesty on high. The earth is His footstool, and all things are put under His feet. When the heavens shall pass away, neither shall His law, for He is the mediator between God and man, abolishing death in His own body. We live unto Him, and He is our Peace and Righteousness, after the order of an undying priesthood. Obedience is learned through suffering. Though we are sons, we also are servants. Praises be to the Most High, who hath delivered us from justification by works.

Day 24

morning:

Blood must have blood— to emphasize the validity of the covenant and its sacrifice, demanded of God by the worship of His creatures. The sanctuary is the model and figure of that which belongs in heaven— the tabernacle and house of God. The blood of the Eternal One was carried upon His own shoulders to free from sin the mortal ones. The Insurance of Life is therefore through death, that the beneficiary may reap eternal life. This Book is the contract and the fine print, sprinkled with blood once and for all. The Ten Commandments still abide. The ordinances of sacrifice were done away with, as He who died tore the veil with His own flesh; and we behold His glory even now. Within the Holy of Holies is a way by which the Holy Spirit signified that Christ would sit on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty on high, interceding on the behalf of man. When Stephen therefore saw the Son of God sitting at the right hand of the throne of God, He had traveled into His Holy Place above, crowned forever as King until His enemies would be ashes. When a man dies, his judgment begins; beginning from Adam to the last man standing. The work of Investigation is occurring above, and Christ is mediator for those who have claimed His name through faith. And when will the living be judged? Soon; then Christ shall return the second time. Says He, till earth and heaven shall pass away, there shall not one jot or one tittle of the Law pass away, til all be fulfilled. We concur then, that heaven has not passed away. Therefore abide we still under the Law, but under the covenant of that Law— that it should be written upon our hearts and minds. There will be no second probation. Thy Kingdom Come.

Day 25

evening:

Oh, that the people of God should count their blessings! The goodness of God is unto all, and we may count it joy when we fall into divers temptations. God tempts no man, but the trial of faith works patience unto perfection. It behoves and becomes the man of God not to waiver, nor to ask amiss, nor to doubt, but to ask for wisdom, which God gives abundantly, and does not take away. There is a storehouse of wisdom available for he who endures and performs the work of righteousness with meekness, and a bound tongue, despite affliction. May our profession of religion be impartial, pure, and undefiled. May we draw nigh to God in effectual, fervent prayer. May we not sin nor transgress in one point of the law. May we fulfill the royalty of neighborly love, for faith without works is dead.

Day 26

evening:

Brethren, we now see the goodness of endurance in the Lord. The trials which oft surprise and surmise us are for our peace and enjoyment. We know clearly and dearly that Christ also suffered, yet without sin. When clouded by temptation, we may indeed rejoice, and partake of the sufferings for the sanctification of the soul. Let us therefore submit to God, knowing that by His own power, we resist. Soberly, we draw forward with diligence for the accomplishment of holiness and charity. Christ is indeed precious, though rejected by the majority, who shall reap the consequence of their unfaithfulness and disbelief. We therefore suffer for right doing, and not for evil, for the glory of God. In whatever position we lie, may we obey and subject ourselves to the greater. Therefore, as we add to faith virtue, then knowledge, patience, temperance, godliness, brotherly kindness and charity, we look forward to judgement in faith and good conscience, for the Chief Shepherd is Bishop of our souls. As we henceforth remember Noah and Lot, let us diligently make our calling and election sure, knowing that the scoffers shall reap condemnation, but we eternal life. The lion may roar, but the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Spotless Lamb has gained the victory for men, and through His blood, I have redemption. Thank You, Father.

morning:

There are three Witnesses in Heaven: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. All bear witness to the truth that Jesus is come into the world in the body of His flesh, to save sinners from the transgression of the law that leads to death. The commandments that keep are the accomplishment of love, not the abolishment of that law of love. To abide in Christ is to obey the commandments, for they are not grievous. Every transgressor is of the devil. Therefore we do not love the world, lest the love of the Father be taken and overridden by lust and pride. We have not the spirit of fear, nor of the antichrist, but we have the light of truth, wherein is no darkness at all. The Son of God is our surety— He is the Savior of the world and sinners, not only by water, but also by blood. His love cleanseth us from all sin. Amen.

Day 27

evening:

At last, we reach the penultimate, the calm before the storm, the final preparation before the war. First, we secure the keeping of the law through faith and love, then we watch for false theories and antichrists. We must be on guard against false doctrines, false teachers, and a counterfeit gospel. When, after we have fully clothed ourselves in the righteousness of Christ through His merits, we will gird for war. The isle of Patmos is for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. We cannot deny Him, for He holds the church at large in His hands and has complete control over everything that was, and is, and is to come. Hence, the Revelation of Jesus Christ awaits.

morning:

The faith of the saints are known by God, as are their works, and their patience, and their trials, and their backslidings. The Lord calls His church back to Himself, though quite the few have fallen away into the depths of Satan, and made of Christ’s adversary their synagogue. It is a fearful work, that Christ should remove the star of His church, but there remains yet one other. After the door of Philadelphia has opened, that no man can shut, the final church has grown of faith from the inside of the Holiest, where Christ has moved from the candlesticks to the very throne of God. We behold Him upon a throne, in appearance as of a jasper and sardine throne, with the rainbow round about His throne, as unto an emerald. We behold heavenly visions, the 24 elders, and the beasts that worship Him forever and ever, declaring His holiness. The Lord Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. He is worthy to open and unlock every secret, and to reveal Himself to the world, as the thousands upon thousands of angels adore Him and sing songs to Him, lifting up their voices, and declaring His power, blessing, honor, glory, and majesty. The secret here, of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, and He that has the key of David and the keys of death and hell, is to worship Him alone, for He is the only God who has created all things; He has created them for His own pleasure.

Day 28

morning:

We have a sure word of prophecy, and the certainty is found in the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, that the woman— she is I. How enraged, therefore is the serpent, that the remnant of her seed should follow the Lamb. Yea, many souls have desperately perished beneath the altar. Yea, the great multitude clothed in white is worthy, for the blood of the saints is sealed. Take heed, therefore, inhabiters of the earth, for the trumpets are soon to sound, and woes and desolations are determined upon the earth! The fire and hail mingled with blood, the disappearance of that great military base, wherewith the third part of the seas have become blood; the locusts and the dissipation of that deadly disease; all of these shall once more occur, yet shall the unrighteous not repent. That star named Wormwood, turning waters bitter, the evildoers will have to drink. But praises be to God; there is a remnant for the redeemed, twelve thousand of every tribe, being the firstfruits unto God, the first at every gate. They shall live, as did the two witnesses, prophesying for the time of their persecution, one time, two times, and half of a time. They shall uphold the tables of Testimony as did Moses, the favored of God. Where the Word has most been stifled and silenced, there shall it speak, as of the Revolution. Yea, that woman, the church, shall escape mightily, and the serpent is full of wrath, as he is powerless to destroy her. Therefore, as they that have understanding, study the prophecies, eat the book, for though it be bitter in the belly, know for a truth that it shall be sweet as honey in the mouth. A little bitterness is good for the soul. Worship God, for he is the mighty Creator, and the kingdoms of this world are become His kingdom, and He shall reign for ever and ever. Hallelujah! Amen! This is the time of probation.

Day 29

morning:

Watch, brethren, there will be hell on earth. How shall the saints escape? They must warn the people of impending doom; the mercies and grace of God shall not suffer forever. They that have slighted the call, and rejected the sovereignty of impending judgment will be judged and punished. The wrath of God in that time shall have no mixture, for the cup of His indignation shall be fully stirred. When He pours, the blasphemers shall heap unto themselves everlasting ruin. On the one hand, the ‘little book’ the Apocalypse speaks of is the book of Daniel, for it must be studied alongside the Revelation, to identify the fourth beast, as being the Roman Catholic Church, with the Pope at its head. With what evidence, shall you say? The book of Daniel highlights clearly the Babylonian empire, the Median and Persian empire, and the successive Grecian empire. In terms of world government, we are henceforth sure and certain that Christ came under the Roman Empire, and the Roman Empire persecuted the church of God for a millennia. This is the forty two months. This is the three and a half years. In prophecy, those years are days, namely, 1,260 days, as one day is one thousand years, and one thousand years as unto one day. We speak in terms of days and years. Nevertheless, when the Witness stood up, the woman was helped by the earth, fleeing to the United States of America, making the beast of the Earth, American land, and the beast of the Sea, Romish land, namely, the Vatican, which stands upon seven hills.

But what is the image, and the mark, and the number? We know for certainty that the number is a form of currency. We also know in certainty that the mark of the Sea beast, the sign of his authority, is the changing of God’s law, namely, the Sabbath law, highlighting God as Creator. Thus saith the first angel’s message: Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. The Seal of God’s command, therefore, is that the Sabbath be remembered, for in six days God created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day. Wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. If therefore the Sabbath be hallowed, then Sunday worship is cursed. What then, is the image? Whether feigned by artificial intelligence, or engraved onto a coin, or enforced by a document, or implanted into the skin, it is wise to watch for any stamp or seal with Romish background, or symbol of the sun. Partake not of this deception, for the plagues shall fall vehemently, and utterly torment those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of Life. Here is the patience of the saints.

Day 30

morning:

I say once more, Cursed be the great whore of Babylon; her mystery is great indeed, that men should wonder after that pest. Her deceptions are worthy of a double portion of the wrath of God. The astrologers, the tarot card and palm readers, all they which prophesy falsely are as unclean frogs, worse than the plague of Egypt, whose darkness befit their blotting out of the book of Life. He which said the first day is the eighth day has reaped unto himself a bunsen burner. He shall not escape. That Devil, the great Dragon which deceiveth the whole world shall be food for worms. But praises be to God, which hath recompensed righteously the blood of the saints and martyrs, innocent, and holy. Salvation be unto God which hath forever ended death and hell, that evil should never return in this life nor the life to come. He cometh quickly, and quickly must He return, for the desolations determined are bloody. Come out of Babylon, ye who belong to the Lamb. The tree of life shall be meat to partake. The water of life shall be yours freely to drink. Abundant shall be eternity, and we have but a few moments until these things be fulfilled. I long for the return of Christ, for I can stay here no longer. I have seen a better land, just beyond my reach, if I would but stretch my hand unto God Almighty, who shall pluck me out of the fire. Oh, how glorious and joyful shall that day be, on the other side, where time is no longer. Death is not my portion, though I indeed shall die. But though I die, yet shall I live again, saith the Christ. His reward attends Him, and I shall partake of and behold the Lamb’s wife, which is the New Jerusalem, coming out of heaven. How beauteous indeed, then, are the feet of them that carry glad tidings. The angels have one message: worship God, and keep the saying of prophecy, for the time is at hand. Jesus is coming soon. Amen.
