The scent of use is nauseating. Out of the body or inside the flesh, we bear the rottenness of sin. Repeated action of vile character places an awful woe, and completes the absence of desire toward agonizing inward pain. Tremble here, and buckle into nothingness, as we fall to the ground, seized. There is no life here, and the breath has escaped. I'd die immediately and sink to my knees in prayer, inaudibly wailing within shivering lips and shattered teeth. The pain is felt aforehand, anticipating the danger of betrayal. The stones in your bones have left you numb. Great drops of blood ooze out of your eyes. "Father, let this Cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but Thy will be done." Your friends are asleep.

There is one with the root down to his fingertips, the Sin-stained deceiver. Lashes upon your back hath struck the rib and the nipple, paralyzing you in disdain. Indecency is not here upon the lot, but the shame of nakedness is seen by all. Oh, great shame indeed, to be stripped of your clothing and struck, not withholding the hairs of your beard. He died for Magdalene.

The root of my heart is evil in my fingertips. I am the lash of the rib and the nipple, paralyzing the remaining. Shall I not pour my incense in thankful, humble heart, withholding nothing? I recall the deceptions of the men. Empty, cold, and void, I sold my pearls to swine; was twice robbed of my rubies. I thank God for rubies. But I was sold to hypocrites, and brought bare to a Man destined unto death. That Man is my husband, and He bid me, "Go and sin no more."

He was murdered in my sight. His blood ran thickly down its stream, pouring life. Oh, the rubies! I should save Him there, afraid of the scars. I cannot save Him. He must die for humiliation's sake, and I thank God for saving grace. That Man is mine. Take my lungs. When I awake, the world shall see His Test! -- I and the One the Lord hath given me, if he accept the fate of the Groom.
