Pearls On My Wedding Ring

I told my husband I want a ring. Oh, but "Adventists wear not jewelry," "a marriage relationship is not covenanted by the presence of a signet". Oh, but listen, contradictor, I want but one pearl of great price. He consented that I sold my belongings to give to the poor, for the land wherewith the pearl is hid costs a life.

Where are the jewels and the gems that cost a life? On the hunt for treasure, we are pirates who travel by sea and by land. I say pirates for the loss of a limb or eye, that we may enter maimed, yet restored in the land of healing. To speak of a land in a promised country is as the anticipation of travel: prepared aforetime, sleepless, and excited. I am reminded of the Passover as a rite of passage over a mountain or sea (of which shall part). Have we need of funds when the nations are spoiled and the riches mine? Deeply mined, precious is the estimate of a soul, valued above earthly good. Earthly good is green dye. Green looks better upon the foliage of a flourished garden, a living green, planted by rivers of water, bearing much fruit.

You see with two eyes, yet I see with an eye of which you are blind. The materialisation of spiritual, heavenly things is for the glory of the Lord to uplift and edify the saints. We have a lovely home beyond the portal of a pearly gate.

I told my husband I want a ring. Oh, but "it is a stumbling-block to those who believe not." Oh, but God, builder of the temple, by the prophecy of Haggai verifies the signet through Zerubabbel as the sign of God's glory, yet unseen. The ark was absent and the foundation was of massive stones, but in the flesh of Christ, His glory is seen, and the foundation is of precious stones. The ark is now present, and the cornerstone is of the Architect. I married a contractor for good reason. He knows my every frame and builds pillars and temples with exactness. The 144,000 is as literal as the east gate, the south gate, the inner court, the chambers and porches, the two doors, and the Man, whose appearance is of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed, standing in the gate (Ezekiel 40:3). That Man has two witnesses: I and my husband; "And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man would hurt them, he must in this manner be killed" (Revelation 11:5). In other words, the special token of God's favor is translation: la vie éternelle sans mourir!

The jealousy of the wicked is their inaccess to the jewels of heaven. The corruption of mundanity is the search of life beyond the grave, whose end is death upon death. To they who pierced him, upon death. 30 pieces of silver is cement and asphalt at best. To them I say, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money" (Acts 8:20). The Tower of Babel is long destroyed, Babylon long cursed to oblivion.

The Jeweler is rich and the floors of His kingdom are of transparent gold. Knowing Him is through the intercourse of His Spirit; therefore I am not only persuaded, but certain of the femininity of Wisdom, if the world only knew womanness and feminity. A covenant is that of a promise beyond the interlocking of members. Christ died for His church. Would my husband die on my behalf? I'd as easily see Them in the Ressurection. This is the blessed hope, the good news of salvation.

Prior to the advent of Christ, He prophesied I would belong to Him in the day when He makes up His jewels (Malachi 3:17). I am not His son. Oh, brethren, the manner of jewels are not only rubies, (one woman), but also pearls (one man). We speak of the pearl of great price, who is Christ. Eve was subject to Adam after sin, and the idolization of stones is godless. There is but one Stone; the Stone of the new covenant, sealed at the center, reminding humanity of the holy Sabbath. That Stone is furthermore upon my doorposts, upon my right hand, and upon my forehead. God be my judge if I came not for peace, but for division only.

And to the many other precious stones, which are human souls, the burden of the gospel is to guide you toward the treasure of heaven, unlocked by the key of prayer. I'd speak more often to Christ if I knew the appeal of kneeling. I say this from the perspective of the bride and the groom. Humility and meekness are noble attributes and I am married into a royal lineage. I'd indeed invite you to the wedding, the divine rendez-vous, the Universal ball, with free tickets. Wedding garments are provided for by the Groom.

I told my husband I want a ring, therefore I wait for a ring.

See you there!
